My Lightning node is getting slow.

After running LND for a while without a restart, the Lightning node can collect a lot of "data gunk" that can slow it down & cause connection issues. If this is what's going on with your node, a device restart should clear everything out.

To do this, navigate to "View Settings" in the System tile of your Casa Node dashboard. Click the Shutdown button. Once this process completes, unplug the white Raspberry Pi cord, then plug it back in and log back into the Casa Node dashboard.

If your issue persists, this may be due to the amount of channels you have open. We've noticed that nodes may start slowing down around having 75 open channels. We recommend closing some of these channels to speed your node back up.
