Changing your Casa account password

The password you use to sign into your Casa app should be the same email address and password you used to sign up for your membership on our website. It's worth double-checking that you're using the correct email address.

If you are using a password manager (which we recommend!), the password manager will save passwords for you to use, but occasionally a password manager may not update correctly if you change the password, or it may insert a space at the beginning or end. It's worth checking your password manager to make sure it's supplying the correct password.

How do I reset my password?

There is a "Reset Password" option you can tap from your Casa app login screen if you can't remember your password or it wasn't save correctly.

Tapping that should send you an email in your inbox containing a link you'll need to click to reset your password.

Please click on that password reset link within 24 hours of receipt or it will expire. If you miss the expiration window, you can always request another one.

If you don't see the "Forgot password" option, please check to see if there's an update to the app, so that you're running the latest version.

Still having issues?

If you are still having problems with your password, please try signing into https://app.keys.casa in a web browser. This should help you confirm that the password you're entering is correct. We recommend doing this on your mobile device first, but also attempting this from a desktop browser if you're unable to sign in from your mobile device.

If you're using a password manager as we recommend, sometimes the issue can be that the wrong password is being auto-filled, or that the password manager is entering an invalid character like a space at the beginning or end of the email address. To rule this out, you may want to use the Reset Password function to set a new password that you write down and enter manually to make sure you can sign in without the password manager, and then updating the password using a password generated by the password manager again later.

Please also ensure that your app and operating system are up to date, and try rebooting the device. This sounds like cliche advice, but you might be surprised how often it really does fix the problem!
