In order to send funds from your Casa multisig wallet, you need to approve the transaction using one or more hardware devices.
Normally, when you need to apply a signature to a transaction, you conveniently receive an email with a link you can click that takes you where you need to go to sign that transaction.
This convenient process of signing described above is, however, dependent of your email provider. This is why we offer the ability to obtain a transaction signature link without needing to reply on an email.
The ability to sign without email can be useful if:
- Your email service is temporarily down
- You are locked out of your email account
- Casa’s email service is experiencing a delay
How does it work?
If your email isn’t showing up, just double-tap ‘I Didn’t Get The Email.’
This will open up a share sheet giving you direct access to the signing link.
When you have the signing link, you'll need to copy that link over to your computer to sign the transaction.
How do I get the link from my phone to my computer without manually entering it into the URL field of my browser?
If you're using an iPhone + Mac, you can use AirDrop to beam beam the signing link instantly from your iPhone to your Mac. It’s so fast and so smooth that it’s become our preferred way to sign all transactions (even when email is working perfectly).
If you're not set up for Airdrop, you can also message yourself this link using a different service that you can access from both your phone and your computer. You would simply copy the link address URL from phone, then paste it into a place where you can send it to yourself. Some examples of messaging apps that can be used on both your phone and your desktop/laptop computer are:
