Transaction memos in the Casa app allow you to add a note to any transaction you send or receive through your Casa app.
To add a memo, you would:
- Tap any transaction
- Tap "Add" on the Memo line
- Enter any text you want (including emoji!)
- Tap "Save"
You can add a memo prior to or after sending funds.
Are my memos private?
Memos never touch the blockchain, but for the sake of restoration on a new device, they are stored on Casa's servers. As a precaution, we don't recommend putting sensitive information in your memos, such as your name, or any personally identifiable information.
Can I edit my memos?
You can also edit a memo as many times as you want. Memo previews will show up when you're signing a multisig transaction, as well as in your full transaction history.
