Setting Up ETH Pay Relay Wallet: A Step-by-Step Guide
If you're ready to take advantage of the ETH Pay Relay Wallet, you're in the right place! This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of setting up your ETH Pay Wallet as a relay for your ETH 3 or 5-key ETH vault. Follow these simple steps to get started.
Step 1: Set up the ETH Pay Wallet
- Once you're logged in, navigate to the "ETH Pay Wallet" section on the bottom left tab. This is where you'll set up your ETH Pay Wallet.
- Tap on Set Up Pay Wallet
Step 2: Fund Your ETH Pay Wallet
- Before you can use your ETH Pay Wallet as a relay, you need to ensure it has enough Ethereum to cover the costs associated with deploying smart contracts. If your ETH Pay Wallet is already funded, you can skip to the next step.
- If your ETH Pay Wallet needs funding, tap on Deposit and proceed to send funds using the QR code or copy and paste the receiving address to the wallet you are sending from.
- We recommend sending yourself around 35 USD in ETH to cover the cost of your vault creation. (This fee varies greatly depending on network activity)
Step 3: Set Up Your ETH Vault using ETH Pay Wallet Relay
- Now that your ETH Pay Wallet is funded, you can proceed to set up your vault.
- Tap on the vault tab in the bottom navigation bar of Casa app.
- Tap Setup on your ETH vault. It will bring you to a screen where you can select your relay type. Scroll down and tap on Use your ETH Pay Wallet.
- Remember that once you make this choice, you won't be able to change it later on. Please confirm by clicking on I Understand.
Step 4: View Network fees
- At this step, the app will give you an estimate based on current network fees of how much ETH you need in your ETH Pay Wallet. You can add more funds or continue if you have enough in your ETH Pay Wallet.
- Then click on Got it, Continue.

Step 5: Completing the Vault setup.
