Casa Single Key wallet

The Casa Single Key wallet is a simple, lightweight wallet secured by one key.

Different than our multisig setups, you don't need multiple keys to send funds using the Casa Single Key. The Single Key allows you to sign and send transactions using just your mobile device.

The Single Key makes storing a key on your mobile device (and backing it up) simple, safe, and easy, and is available for all membership levels.

How is it backed up?

The key for the Single Key is stored within the secure enclave of your phone and backed up to your phone's default cloud service. No need to write down a seed phrase!

If you're using an iPhone, the wallet's key is backed up to iCloud. If you're using an Android phone, the key is backed up to Google Drive.

In order for the Single Key to be backed up automatically, you need to be signed into your Apple (if you're using an iPhone) or Google (if you're using an Android phone) account in the system settings of your phone.

At no point does Casa ever have access to your key, and since the backup is encrypted, your cloud storage provider can't access your key, either.

What if I get a new phone?

If you get a new phone and want to restore your Single Key, simply log into Casa App on your new phone, and restore the key from backup. As long as you're signed in to the same Apple or Google account on the new phone as when you first set up the key, you're good to go.

How do I set it up?

To set up your Single Key:

1. Tap "Single Key" from the main window in Casa App.

2. Click on Perform Health Check.

And that's it! Your Single Key wallet is ready!
