How to withdraw from Binance.US

We've all heard that storing your funds on an exchange is risky. Exchanges have been hacked, exchange founders have died or disappeared, the keys to the funds have been lost, and authorities have even seized assets. If you want to protect your funds, you need to hold them yourself.

If you're ready to upgrade to Casa's multisig protection and have set up your Casa vault, you're ready to send the funds from your Binance.US account to your Casa vault. This process is essentially the same as you would follow to send funds anywhere else from your Binance.US account.

How to Withdraw Crypto out of your Binance.US account

 

When Using the Mobile App

1. Login to the Binance.US mobile app and then tap the 'Wallet' icon at the bottom of the screen 

2. From the Wallet screen, tap 'Withdraw.'

3. Select the currency (either Bitcoin or Ethereum) you would like to withdraw from. 

4. Read the warning message and then confirm you have understood by tapping on the 'Withdraw [Asset]' button at the bottom of your screen.

5. Sign into your Casa app on your mobile device. Tap the vault you want to deposit to.

Click the "Deposit Funds" button (if this is your first deposit) or the "Receive" button (if you have made deposits in the past) at the bottom. Click the "Copy" button to copy your receive address.

6. Paste the receiving address from the Casa App into the Address field of the Binance.US app 

Double-check to verify that your address is correct and then, tap 'Next.'

7. Enter the amount of BTC or ETH that you would like to withdraw and tap 'Preview Withdrawal.'

8. Confirm once more that all of the information shown to you is correct, then tap 'Withdraw [Asset].' 

8. You'll receive an email asking for your confirmation. Open the email titled Withdraw Request Confirmation, verify that it is your intended transaction, and then click Confirm Withdraw to proceed.

9. Within a few minutes, your funds will now be on their way to your Casa vault! Once the transaction is broadcast, you should see it as a pending transaction in your Casa app.

10. To check the status of your withdrawal on the Binance.US, return to your account and navigate to Wallet → Deposits & Withdrawals 

11. To view any crypto transactions on the blockchain, you can tap any crypto deposit or withdrawal in your history and copy the TxID to search on the corresponding blockchain explorer.

 

On the Web

1. After signing in to your Binance.US account, navigate to your 'Wallet' page from the menu bar at the top of your screen. 

2. On the Wallet page, click 'Withdraw' in the top right corner. 

3. Select the cryptocurrency (either Bitcoin or Ethereum) you would like to withdraw from the pop-up window.

4. Sign into your Casa app on your mobile device. Tap the vault you want to deposit to.

Click the "Deposit Funds" button (if this is your first deposit) or the "Receive" button (if you have made deposits in the past) at the bottom. Click the "Copy" button to copy your receive address.

5. On the Binance.US website, enter the amount of your withdrawal and the receive address from your Casa vault by pasting it into the Address field 

Double-check to verify that your address and network are correct. Then, click 'Preview Withdrawal.'

6. Confirm once more that all of the information shown to you is correct, then tap 'Confirm Withdrawal.' 

6. You'll receive an email asking for your confirmation. Open the email titled Withdraw Request Confirmation, verify that it is your intended transaction, and then click Confirm Withdraw to proceed with the withdrawal.
